MEETINGS
Our main monthly meeting are on the third Monday of each month, in the Main Hall at The Paddocks, Long Road, Canvey Island.
All main meetings will commence with announcements regarding group activities, outings, etc. After the announcements, we will have a speaker, musician, singer, or other activity. Following the entertainment, we break for tea/coffee/biscuits, giving us time to chat amongst ourselves or to deal with any questions or enquiries you may have. After tea, there is a raffle and then some time to catch up with your group liaison regarding your chosen groups.
At present, we also hold a monthly coffee afternoon on the first Friday of each month at Smallgains Hall. These meetings will also include some Group Meetings (see Groups). Doors open at 1.15 p.m., meetings commence at 1.30 pm and close at 3.30 pm
OUTINGS
Details for booking all forthcoming outings can be found in the Diary below.
Booking for outings will not commence until the doors open on main meeting days. Outings are typically booked and paid for two months prior to the outing date and on the main meeting date.
Please note that all outings require immediate payment upon booking. At a meeting, you will be able to book and PAY for two other members as long as they are unable to attend the meeting. All money will be non-refundable unless someone can be found to take your place. Please think carefully before you book.
We also ask that you pay for your outing by cheque payable to "CANVEY ISLAND U3A".
